General Virtual Assistant (Healthcare)
Job Overview
As a General Virtual Assistant (Healthcare), you will support US-based healthcare providers and organizations by handling a mix of patient-facing and administrative tasks. This role is ideal for candidates with Customer Service Representative (CSR) experience, particularly those who have supported healthcare, insurance, or medical accounts.
You will work closely with your assigned client, their patients, and internal clinic staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. A typical workday may involve managing patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, handling insurance-related concerns, and maintaining accurate records—all while delivering excellent service and professionalism.
This is a full-time night-shift role, with complete support from SmartScale360’s IT team and your dedicated Account Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for patients, CarePro and internal staff via phone, email, or messaging platforms
- Handle patient inquiries related to appointments, basic healthcare services, and follow-ups
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments, procedures, and consultations
- Maintain and update CarePro records while ensuring strict confidentiality and compliance
- Coordinate communication between patients, CarePro, and clinic staff
- Provide administrative support such as managing emails, documentation, and reports
- Support telehealth workflows, ensuring patients are guided properly when needed
- Follow established healthcare processes, scripts, and service-level expectations
What We're Looking For
- At least 1–2 years experience, preferably in a healthcare, insurance, or medical-related account
- Has BPO experience handling US-based accounts
- Strong English communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Comfortable handling calls, emails, and chat support in a professional manner
- Willing and able to work fixed night shifts aligned with US business hours
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate multiple systems
- Strong sense of confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information
